Growing up watching the NBA from 2000s, I can easily name couple 2nd over picks ended up straight bust, some had early burst (probably putting up good numbers on bad teams), others like straight up bust, or just cursed overall...

To name a few, Darko Milicic, Emeka Okafor, Marvin Williams, Michael Beasley, Hasheem Thabeet, Evan Turner, Derrick Williams,, Michael Kidd-0Gilchrist, Jabari Parker, Lonzo Ball, Marvin Bagley III, James Wiseman, even look at what Ja Morant is currently..
