TIL there's a new South Park game releasing

If the writing is as good as the last 2 games I'll enjoy it

Hoping the main characters will be playable

Is THQ, brace yourselves for disappointment

looks like it's going to be fun but I'm unsure what I think of it yet until I get my hands on a demo or something, depends if they are just going to head straight to release without having a live stress test to see how the game runs and what does and doesn't need to be fixed before release.

Ehhh…. Not too excited. I really enjoy both the first two games for the art style, gameplay and story. This one looks like it will be lacking in all three… I’m sure a lot of people will enjoy it tho

I hate shooters, and online games, but this one looks fucking great.

All these people are talking about the graphics.. IT'S FUCKING SOUTH PARK..

Graphics look garbage, to be honest. That blue circle floating and clipping shit to represent a healing area would be bad for PS3…

Gameplay doesn’t look particularly good either. All in all, not impressed, and I don’t have any hopes for this one.

Being turn based was so perfect for any game that is going to be about south park. This real time crap will never compare.

South Park has an iconic art style unique to it, why give it all up for this SFM porn style graphics.

I'd kinda like to lessen the reliance on social media in the storytelling

It genuinely looks quite good in my opinion.

Though, the last two South Park games were pretty epic and it actually had a lot of potential into the storylines, cutscenes and many more.

But I'm just gonna say for a fact this new SP game is gonna be cooler than I expected.

I think much like a lot of movie trilogies, these games will be ranked for quality in the same order they came out

Looks fucking great. I wasn’t sure about the art style, but the gameplay trailer sells it pretty well for me. My 14 year old and I try and play all the co-op games together. He hates South Park. I’m going to get him to play this with me, and make him like it. 😈

Graphics suck, what made TSOT and TFBW good was they looked just like an episode of southpark.

This looks like a fan game on unity. I’d rather they kept the 2d art style but you can turn the camera for different views

The translation to true 3D in the same style as South Park 64 looks as good as they're gonna get it. I love that the 3d models have the same silhouette and it's rigged and animated like the show. The gameplay looks interesting could be okay, and I wish it were more regular south park rather than the lotr/fantasy stuff from the stick of truth but hey looks cool

I hope it got a story and not just a versus mode

Massive fan of SoT and it's way up there as my favourite South Park 'episode', FBW was fun but nowhere near as funny or epic. The new game honestly doesn't look great

I have alot of faith in Trey and Matt so i'm sure it'll be good but the style and gameplay hasn't got me hyped so far

South Park in 3d didn't look right in 1998, and 25 years of tech advancements have not fixed that.

Who the hell asked for a live service multiplayer South Park game, let alone for it to be connected to the gems we’ve had so far?

Am I totally sold on the art style? Not yet. I think it's just hard to top the literal assets used in the show. That being said, the camera angles they used in the cutscenes were pretty deliberate to be very much like the show in terms of composition. I can deal with that.

The gameplay DEFINITELY has me interested. If we get a hack and slash RPG in South Park that's pretty fully realized like the first two games, I'm soooo down.

As long as there's no Ubisoft it'll probably win game of the year

Why would you change the art style from the last two games?

They were literally perfect because it felt like playing a south park episode.

everyone is complaining abt the art style/graphics, but im excited for something new. looks like it has great potential.

I am basically new to everything on South Park, but I at least already have stick of truth and the Fractured But Whole. I know I will have a lot of fun with them since I haven't played them yet. For this I'm just expecting a fun game. I don't have big expectations like the long time fans. But we shall see what happens I guess. It will be interesting to say the least.

I still don't like how it looks, it looks better than the first trailer but I just don't think south park and 3D blend well (at least in it's OG style). It also seems it's going to be just a multiplayer game, if there's no story mode I don't think I'll be getting it.
