I`m looking for my first dress watch around $2k max, and I really like minimalist designs, that said, these are the competitors:

- Nomos Lugwig 38 (Manual)

- Longines Heritage Classic (Automatic)

If you have another suggestion for this price range, I'll definitely check it out, thanks guys !

I’d choose the Nomos Club Campus 36. Here are my reasons:

10 ATM (water resistance is important to me)
36 is a more classic size
the lugs are nicer than the Ludwig but the dial is simpler than the Longines.
nicer colours (you could get white for a more dressy feel but have the orange accents for the flair)
California dial is so nice.

I would take the Nomos Tangente (I prefer its numerals) or Orion (just indices, different lugs) in 35mm (the classic size)

That’s a tough one. Both are excellent. I have a very tiny preference for the Longines, but you won’t go wrong either way.
