You should consider the outcomes of each scenario. If you take the higher paying office job, your lifestyle will change from international nomad to domestic. Your relationship will likely end as a result. You will have money and begin a high paying career in a field you may not be so interested in. Doesn't sound very fulfilling in the longterm. Money doesn't mean much if you're miserable, you may end up happy though!
Other scenario is you take the lower paid job. Work a few months with your gf, few months back home. Build some strong evidence of your ingenuity and leadership as the lone entry-level software developer at your org - resume boost. This seems the more work/life balanced option, where as the other is more work skewed.
Make sure the remote position allows you the freedom to move around if that’s of interest. A lot of these remote positions won’t let you leave the country due to tax or security reasons.
