I have made an analysis on the best players based on certain statistics in the NBA. In the categories "Best scorers" and "Best Assisters" Haliburton stands out incredibly. He is truely the most valuable offensive player in the NBA if you combine advanced statistics, age and salary.

To give you more context

• Only 3 players score at least 25 PPG on Min. 60% true shooting, while raking in at least 2 offensive win shares. SGA, Jokic & Haliburton

• Only 3 players record at least 8 APG with at least 40% AST% and less then 14% turnover %. Booker, Jokic & Haliburton

Keep in mind that he is still only 23 until February..

I've been calling him a Reggie/Stockton hybrid 2.0 since his rookie season. Given his play style this might be the dude to threaten Stockton's insane AST record and shoot 50/40/90 for years.

We are still quite early in his career and in the season, but he has potential to be really great.

Just has to prove it in the playoffs as well. Also these are stats from 13 games played. Lets see how he holds up after 50-60 games.

I've been watching ball 40 years. Playoffs don't make players, they make legacies. Skills are skills.

I think that Steve Nash is the perfect comparison for him.

Great passer and playmaker, great shooter, extremely efficient and orchestrates both the fastest paced and highest scoring offense in the league.

If Nash was in the league today he'd be encouraged to shoot more threes given his amazing percentages, so he'll basically be as close to a player like Haliburton as anyone could be.

Jokic is indeed the best player in the league. Has been for several years. Because of that he also makes 47.6 mil. base salary, compared to Haliburton's 5.8 mil.

That's why I want to emphasize bang for buck. Bro has insane potential at 23. Lets see what upcoming season will bring.

Didn't the Magic shut him down a few games ago?

Have you seen anyone shut down Jokic?

Best offense is also unstoppable offense - not just offense that is great when the defense is not so good or just average.

Talking about bang for buck value. Was just something that I noticed while looking at the stats :D

this is why you dont make a statistical analysis on a 13 game sample size.

Maxey was playing like prime MJ for 12/13 games and is now regressing back to normal

You are making quite a leap with such a small sample size.

This has Jeremy Lin vibes all over it…

[–] misterblokshots@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

I mean haliburton was also good last year. Lin was out of the blue :D

But yeah it's very early of course, just interesting stats tbh..

That’s not how your post reads.

You said it without context to the sample size that you forget to reference.

For his career, he isn’t.

Good catch let me edit real quick

Hands down the best bang for the buck offensive player in the league over 13 regular season games when cherry-picking stats. I say give this man the MVP trophy right now.

Side note, he do be ballin' though.
