This isn’t new from Sané, he was scoring every game for the first month but his finishing has fallen off since. He’s been just as good, he’s just assisting 1-2 times a game instead of scoring now.

If we had consistent scorers in the attacking midfield in the likes of Robben and Ribéry from the past… we’d be 7-0 up by now.
Kane is making world class passes one after another, but the other forwards are rejecting the goal haha

I think this may be the 2nd best game this season after Dortmund. Incredible how it’s not a clear cut 5:0.
Sané’s work rate to recover lost balls isn’t talked about enough, man chases opponents down to win back balls
I hope that this is the type of mentality that the younger players will pick up on and emulate (looking at Irankunda when he gets here), that extra work makes a huge difference.

Besides missing those chances I am really happy about the way we are playing. Very solid performance so far.

with a great defensive line and some phenomenal defending by Laimer this game is allowing Kimmich and Goreztka to push up front more to play their natural strengths and it’s absolutely showing this game, I’m loving it
Actually Goretzka plays deeper than usual
hmm I guess, but he’s making great runs when needed. Kimmich is killing it if he doesn’t have pressure to defend or play too deep, hopefully we can see more of this in the future

I don't know if it's too risky being 0-1 and watching how the game is doing but (never thought I'd say this) let Sarr play for Kim.

Choupo has got himself in really excellent positions this half but been utterly useless in front of goal.

Kimmich would be useless in the box during corners and he doesn’t defend deep anyway. He might as well watch Sané up close taking corners, he may learn a thing or two.
