For ecommerce, Shopify may be a better option.

I’m a software developer. I vehemently hate GoDaddy. Horrible service that intentionally makes it difficult to work with domains outside their platform. If your intention is to set up an e-commerce store, I’d suggest Shopify.
Thank you! It sounds like Shopify it is!
GoDaddy is ass
Godaddy is garbage; especially from a web developer perspective. Shopify hands down
Try to lookup a domain on godaddy. The next day it will be purchased and theyl let you buy it for 3x price.
GoDaddy lost most of their customers back in the day when they showed their true colors and released a statement in support of SOPA/PIPA. Since then, the only way they've been able to stay afloat is with the shadiest of business practices. Steer clear of those scumbags. Shopify is a way better platform.
Shopify is way more user friendly
Keep the separate.
Shopify is a functional ecommerce that has all the standard features that a b2c needs. As a project manager, i’ve seen time and time clients DNS records getting wiped with their domains on GoDaddy
I use Shopify. As a beginner, it’s easy. And there’s a million YT videos showing you how to make your store look really professional so long as you use on the of the popular Shopify themes. Re: the email piece, I use a gmail business account like probably everyone else everywhere. But i stopped using Mailchimp and use Shopify’s customer email tool and it’s pretty good for basic email marketing. Great way to save some money on a standalone email marketing platform.
I guess if i had a gun to my head and had to choose.. I would take the bullet
