It's pretty clear what the issue is. Harden is trying to make PG play like Luke Kennard. This is the same issue LeBron had with Dwayne Wade and Bosh.

Links are here: you might have to change to EFG% https://www.pbpstats.com/on-off/nba/player?Season=2023-24&SeasonType=Regular%2BSeason&TeamId=1610612746&PlayerId=201935

It's like trying to start Lou Williams in 2020 over Pat Bev.

I looked over in the Clippers sub and there was actually a Russ stan trying to argue that Kawhi should come off the bench for Russ lmao

[–] topofthecc@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Dang, MIT has burners?

[–] realsomalipirate@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Lmao normal clippers fans must be in hell with Harden and Russ stans in their fanbase now

I don’t know enough about the clippers right now, haven’t watched them much. But why are people so stuck on the starting aspect? There’s a case to be made for a lot of teams that bringing one of their better players off the bench and running a second unit may make them better as a whole. Lineups are so dynamic in basketball that players are playing with different players all the time, it’s not like starters only play with starters. Not saying this should be kawhi or PG or Harden or Russ. Just saying, there’s a real possibility the team would be better bringing one of the three bigger stars off the bench.

Bro what's your issue with Sweet Lou?

[–] MITWestbrook@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I love him. But he was sixth man despite being better scorer than Bev

King’s back

Damn this one isn’t filled with paragraphs of nonsensical garbage like the other recent ones, not sure if weirdos on this sub will be able to fill the comments with “bro you guys have to admit, he puts a lot of effort into these!!!” this time

[–] RickySuela@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Yeah, even MIT seems to be mailing it in after Russ's poor play lately.

[–] JimmyV34@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

bro keeps comparing pat bev to russ but pat bev was actually a leader back in 2020, he was shooting 40% from 3s and he was providing better defense than russ. This man is like next level of gaslighter

Wake up babe

[–] LoveIslandFansRawk@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Wait until the playoffs (or pandemic) then he's like a 41.6 TS% solid don't matter who on or off, that's what I call consistency

I hate these statistics, are you seriously telling me that another persons shooting percentage is a different players fault, so stupid

[–] Banana_trumpet@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I mean it doesn’t tell you the whole story so idk how accurate this post is but the idea is trying to use stats to measure a point guards playmaking impact and the type of shots they’re generating for their teammates. We see it on the spurs with the type of offensive efficiency Wemby has when he plays with sochan vs tre jones (no hate tho I know sochan is trying). A teams playmaking 100% affects how effective players can be.

[–] Slow_Shift6252@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I mean yeah. Those things can be connected and usually are lol. Playing with better players usually makes your efficiency go up.

[–] samueladams6@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Why does it matter how well Paul George is shooting if it never matters how well Westbrook is?

[–] chloroform42@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

You’re my anti-drug, MIT

[–] shakehasbignuts@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Yo MIT how’s it going

[–] BlackMagic860@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Babe wake up the Westbrook dick sucker posted again

[–] Rpeddie17@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Wade and Bosh’s percentage with lebron on vs off we’re significantly higher.

Bosh’s usage compared to his Toronto years is where the dip was… it’s almost as if someone is went from first option in a treadmill team to a 3rd option on a perennial contender 🤔
