Home automation is the residential extension of building automation.

It is automation of the home, housework or household activity.

Home automation may include centralized control of lighting, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), appliances, security locks of gates and doors and other systems, to provide improved convenience, comfort, energy efficiency and security.

Sorry if this question gets asked a lot but I can't seem to find the answer. I purchased 10 Inovelli blue 2-1 switches to control all of the Philips hue lights in my house. I just realized the Inovelli switches aren't compatible with the Hue bridge. My question is what bridge do I need to purchase in order to use the switches to control multiple Hue lights and also be able to control scenes throughout the house? Also, is there a different android app I would need to control the bulbs after I switch hubs?

Thank in advance.

SmartThings or Hubitat are two popular off-the-shelf / all-in-one boxes. Home Assistant is also very popular, but you have to build your own hub to run it.

If you are planning to bind the Blues directly to Hue lights (via zigbee direct binding), just remember you'll need to remove those Hues from the Hue bridge and instead pair them to the hub the Blues are on.

This.

I’ve moved from ST to HE but both would work well to accomplish what you want.
