Seems like it's deserved but I'd be cooler never calling any of these as techs.
NBA - Main
Game analysis, highlights and everything else that is happening in the NBA.
Man you can’t call this shit on Bron man. He’s 40! Fuck outta here.
What's this!? LeBron being treated the same as the refs are treating the rest of the league for one play!!!?? Say it isn't so.
Let's call these but not the million travels everyone makes a game
That was a bit unnecessary. The extra pull up was what did it
I love that they're calling this it makes me feel safe at home.
It's the best thing in sports since that 10 year stretch the NFL called penalties every time players celebrate touchdowns!

Remember that time lebron hung on the rim for like 45 seconds and no one called anything? I think it might have been a Christmas game
people are complaining but this has been a rule for a very long time.
Imagine trying to preserve your body and fall properly so you can continue to play at an old age, and hearing that fuckin whistle
This one was completely deserved. This was a bad mistake at a critical time, and he knows it.
I think that’s a stupid tech but LeBron should know better, especially near the end of the game.
Gotta love when the refs start re-emphasizing rules that nobody cares about
He’s a menace and a danger to society Silver, I want him shot.
…Is the NBA rage baiting us?
It seems a way for him to have more of a controlled and safer landing.
A lot of people on here pointing out the pull-up etc. But you watch that video and he dunks and is moving forward. Players walking behind him. He swings back from that forward movement and on that swing back, picks up his legs and pulls himself up slightly to center and drop. Any more than that and sure toss a T if you have to. But to me that doesn’t seem excessive. There wasn’t an extra swing, or like a pull up of his head over the rim or anything like that, and from a time perspective he got off as soon as he safely could tell from up there I’m sure.
Feel like the Tatum one was very similar. When you go up and people are under you on the forward swing, all you can do is swing back and check again and the safest dismount is to drop. You can slow and center yourself with a quick pull up of the arms like here or you can try and lock / tense your arms a bit to slow you down too to safely drop. The pull up, in my experience, is easier and gets you off slightly faster.
Man do I hate that.
Just can’t understand what in the world the league is going for with this stuff. Like yeah Shaq hanging on the rim to knock Chris Dudley to the floor type shit I get, but this every day enthusiasm type stuff what is the point? It slows down the game, sucks for entertainment, and for what?
The only working theory I have is that the refs are kinda like the police and police unions and not really under control by the league (really is the same energy/personality type, also similar nepotism/insularity) and the refs like to call it bc they like to flex on the players for the little power trip it gives them.
Hanging on the rim is good tv and should be allowed if you're a superstar
I think they should fine the refs I mean come on now. They making the game about them it’s about the players competing and entertaining the fans.
