I think my list will have Rudy, AD, Bam Adebayo, Brook Lopez, Mitchell Robinson as the top 5 defenders in my DPOY race so far.

Other Notable defenders: OG, Dillon Brooks, Herb Jones, Alex Caruso all deserve some appreciation

Bam and OG are the two best defenders in the league.

Only two that can truly guard 1-5 at a high level.

Imo it’s Dillon Brooks.

The Rockets are (currently) the top defensive team in the league and it is largely because of him.

Quinten Grimes may not make a lot of these lists, but always takes the opposing teams best player and is a real anchor of our defense.

AD leads the league in blocks and is also high up there for big man steals. But it's not just the stats. The Lakers D with AD on the court vs off is insane. The man literally is the Lakers defense especially given all of our top POA defenders are injured

AD should win this time around
