The dumbest move the Clippers have done in the past 12 months is letting Nic Batum go*, both for the on-court and the intangible culture stuff. There aren't many players like him in the league, and he will apparently give everything he has to any team (unless they're in Charlotte).

Instantly one of my all-time favorite posts. Not at all the 7 second clip I anticipated from the unassuming title.

This is why we love basketball. A 5 minute sequence, a full and brilliant ending to an ordinary regular season game. Might not mean too much in the grand scheme of things, but the game itself is always so damn beautiful and thrilling.

Batum even today is a good starter imo - well underpaid, he’s a good spot up 3 point shooter (been at 40% 2 out of the last 3 seasons and that 1 season was 39.1%), and he’s a very underrated defender that’s very, very good and can guard 1-5. If Philly can keep him from retiring that’d be a major W for them

Nico was the inbounder on Dame’s series winner vs Houston and the play was absolutely not for Lillard. It was supposed to be a lob to LaMarcus but Dame said fuck it and ran his own route. Batum took a big risk giving him the ball but the result was historic

I have never seen the Spurs with worse ball movement. Very uncharacteristic of them.
