A 30 rebound difference would do that, but make a couple more FGs and it’s a different game. Seemed to be missing a lot and not enough assists, in my opinion.

Also the FTs and defense was a problem. Too many FTs for the clippers.

Not shocked the Clippers won, but I am shocked they blew Dallas out. Being on the b2b and Dallas looking like a solid team. I had seen some mentions of Dallas record being inflated due to an easy schedule. Wondering now if there is some validity to that.

There was a lot of talk about the Lakers depth in the off-season, but this is the game where it really showed. They were missing 4 key players in their rotation and simply sled other players in and still looked solid. They are legitimate 12 deep, with a lot of positional flexibility too.

Zion sat. Brandon against the world with no one who could space for him. Hawkins was hot and Willie sat him the whole 3rd. Any of the above works
