I’m EU citizen looking to move from my home country to Austria, keeping my remote work job in my home country. Planning to stay up to a year at this stage.

How do I avoid tipping off the tax authorities at home that I’m gone? Was thinking about using my middle name on the flight tickets but don’t know if that would work.

Also have the issue of needing to register in Austria after 3 months. Is there any way around this? Or should I just register and assume the countries won’t share info with each other?

If your home country's adress is still there, then you are tax resident there So you are asking people how to do tax fraud?
