"Actually, we like that they're dropping passes and want them to keep doing it."

And I expect more dates with Mia Goth despite recent lack of dates with Mia Goth.
I expect to become a millionaire at some point in my life. We can all hope and dream right?
What a headline
Sure, it's totally not like they just handed us a primetime game because of that
If Justyn Ross wasn’t a complete idiot, this would be a great opportunity to realize his potential.
It aint getting better.
If it was going to, it would have been after the bye.
I can’t imagine anyone expects them to get worse, they’ve been horrible.
It’s gotta get better at some point.
I also “expect” I will be improving my luck in the dating game in the second half as well, doubling my dates from the current zero to……fuck
I’ll believe it when I see it. They need to readjust their second half play calling as a whole anyway. Us averaging the least amount of points in the second half is definitely not purely a drops issue
When the current point total from recent games in the second half is '0', can't go anywhere but up, right?
They really need to somehow draft/trade/free agency a completely new wr core next year.
I can’t believe people get paid to write stuff like this
Last game was a black cloud game, I realize there has been some inconsistencies throughout the season, but even Kelce dropped one last game, which isn't a common thing. I fully expect the Chiefs to be much better.
I’d be expecting that too.
How do you completely control all 3 phases of a game, curb stomp your opponent, only to come up short in the end. All it took was one of those passes being caught to be the dagger for the eagles.
Expectations are low, but they're there.
Do they really have a choice?
Second half? We’re abiut to be 11 games in. The second half has already begun and it’s just as bad if not worse as the first half because Kelce hasn’t been able to shoulder the load.
Unless they sign Queton Johnson it cant get any worse
The real question is how much will it cost them to trade up to draft MHJ
couldn't be any worse, right?
I think Hardman and Toney could still find a way to drop passes from the injury report
Coach Reid to WRs: You better not drop passes in the second half, okay?
They need to feature Rice and force feature Sky Moore and hope he can begin something. We all know how limited Watson is. Whenever he is about to get hit he doesn’t catch the ball and it’s clearly a habit, which don’t get me wrong I get it, but he is seriously afraid of taking a hit and it causes a lot of drops. MVS is just not very good either and Hardman is also not good. And then Toney is super frustrating because even though he’s great in open space, he seems like a very gimmicky player and it drives me crazy that we have to run gimmick plays to get him the ball.
One of the biggest problems I think is that they try to spread the ball around to all of these guys rather than trying to feature any one of them and I understand why. However, they should probably just take a chance and try to get the most recent receivers they drafted in a better rhythm with Maholmes and hope they see a big improvement from those two. They at least have potential to be good. Rice especially.
And lastly, I don’t get why we don’t use McKinnon in the passing game more. He was awesome the last two to three seasons in the screen game and it just doesn’t seem like we use him much at all anymore.
[Schefter] /u/Lark_vi_Britannia's girlfriend expects improvement from her boyfriend after consistently shitting himself at IHOP every time they go
Based on what, exactly?
This is like me when I shit the bed in the first set during tennis. “second set will go better.”
It almost certainly never does.
Reid and Mahomes were shooting State Farm commercials instead of putting time in with the receivers
“We changed nothing, and we think that will help us improve.”
Press X to doubt. Still Mahomes, Kelce and Reid combined with that defense should be enough. Will be interesting
Hey guys, can you wait until after next week's gamr please?
Seems like a good place for the Einstein quote about insanity…
Anyway, since we’re probably losing him after this year, I’ll just say I look forward to the Mahomes to Evans pairing in 2024. (sigh)
The only thing that could make the WR worse would be signing Chase Claypool
Lol, we've been expecting that for 8-9 weeks now. At this point, what you have is what you have. They didn't try and pick up anyone in the offseason that can catch a ball, they didn't try to get anyone at the trade deadline beside Mecole who's been a net negative so far.
They have no interest in feeding the ball to Rice, McKinnon is injured, so they'll continue spreading it around each week and praying they don't drop so many that we lose. Doesn't really matter for the regular season, but it's hard to believe the Chiefs don't lose in the playoffs in this exact same way.
The offense is incredibly sloppy, 1st in drops, 6th in turnovers, 26 Offensive penalties. The drops aren't going away, their best shot is cleaning up the penalties and stop fucking turning it over in the red zone every game.
