what leads to such poor tackling across the league? Do teams not practice this?
NFL
A place for NFL news, game highlights and everything that excites you about American Football.
Texans and Jags fans are so cordial with each other damn. Why can’t most game threads be this competitive yet chill??
Did the Jags hire Matt Canada?
Knee for Cam robinson is not a good sign. Hope it isnt too serious
Lawrence most overrated player in the league and it’s not close
There is no way Jacksonville is the last place offense of 3rd and long conversions. The NY Jets exist
Ayo, pierce back. And with how Singletary has been that'll be a good combo
That DB is so fucking bad 🤣🤣🤣
I know I'm speaking too early, but our coverage is looking decent
Man spotting it where the slide begins really only applies when the refs feel like it.
Listen, I agree that the broadcast needs to show the penalty, but can we wait till we see evidence it was a bad call before claiming the call was bullshit?
I’ve watched football for a long time and I still do not understand presnap motion rules.
Why was the Jags player crying on the bench?
Is this the first time both these teams met with winning records?
JUICE SCRUGGS TIME
OSU not beating Michigan w/ Stroud and seeing him in the NFL is wild
How does a pre snap penalty not get called til 30 seconds after the damn play??
This game better chill with the injuries
Runs from shotgun on 3rd/4th and short will never make sense to me.
Spurrier..... You think visors are cool?
Why they don’t let Lawrence throw deep like that ? Peterson let our qb throw that ish
Thank god the refs were there to call that illegal shift, or my enjoyment of this game would have been ruined.
The terrible call is one thing, the announcers treating me like I'm Ray Charles and saying that it's the right call is a whole new level of shit.
Is there anything more frustrating than penalty calls with no replay showing the penalty?
So what’s everyone drinking/snacking on, I’m eating some left over wings from yesterday and drinking a Goose Island IPA
You can say the refs suck, and they often do. And the law of averages means that they often suck in ways that favor this-or-that team. But the whole "rigged" discourse is so laughably stupid.
I can’t help but root for the Texans. Stroud is fucking amazing.
It's crazy that the Texans had Watson, got rid of him, and then found someone with the same game (if not better) immediately after.
I’m not sure if these calls are accurate or not but CBS not showing them makes it extremely frustrating and hard not to think the refs are calling some BS
So far Stroud has shown so much more. He's so nimble and slippery at 6'3, and accurate on the run, besides that overthrow in the 1st quarter.
Lucky for the Jaguars, 3 teams are on rebuilding, but with these quarterbacks, the AFC South is going to be bad blood in the future.
CJ Stroud clearly best QB in this game
I wouldn’t mind calls like that if the broadcast would show the fucking penalty! I know it’s difficult to do on the fly but the broadcast has seemed decidedly iffy this year.
The Zebras are shook!
Two enormous, game changing flags and CBS doesn't show a replay of either penalty. This just feels gross.
NRG Stadium is really beautiful.
We aren't shown the DPI but everyone is convinced it was a bad call 🥱 😴
no guys please trust me that was dpi don’t ask for replays please just believe me even the guys in the booth said it was a good call dpi haha
Why are the jags getting chief calls???
Holding all play geez
Texans really lost Watson and Hopkins just to reset with Stroud and Dell
They rushed 3 on that one I think.
Surprised the refs haven't found a reason to chalk off that TD
Jeez Stroud is so good dude. Carolina has to be reeling. Texans got a good one
Jacksonville's play calling has been annoying
best throw of the day and Ridley drops it
Thanks Ridley!!
What the fuck is this play calling what’s the point of all these receivers if we don’t use them
They don't allow you to have bees in here.
