Vanilla WoW players: Where were you when "Make Love, Not Warcraft" aired? (alien.top)

Hey everyone!

Last night I was thinking about this episode and what my guild did when it aired, and it made me curious if any others did the same. Since Wednesday was a raid night, we were in Naxxramas starting to clear trash toward Patchwerk, and I had told the other officers the previous week that we either were gonna need to take a break, or people were gonna leave the raid.

So 10est rolled around, we all took our headsets off and before you know it, we were making plans to cancel our accounts and go buy Hello Kitty Island Adventure! Was anyone else an active player at that time?

I remember it well, my brother and I went over to our friend’s house where we about ten of us kids brought our laptops to play WoE before, during commercials, and after the episode aired. Huge sleepover with chips and sodas galore, we made it a real event.

I saw the episode and wanted it for Christmas and I was lucky enough to get it. Unfortunately I was only like 11 so I wasn't really familiar with that pay monthly type of playing lol Needless to say I never even got to play the game 🤣

I was actually in Orgrimmar watching it live. Was my freshman year of college... the entire server was watching, so it was a huge viewing party. It was awesome.

I was working for Blizzard as a Warcraft GM. I think we'd just opened the Irish office and a fair amount of us watched it on TV during our shift on a few TV's around the place.

Got a lot of laughs out of folks.

We were in black wing lair, never got to see naxx. That episode was brutal.

Naxx was an absolute meat grinder. There were only 900 guilds over the entirety of the US servers that managed to kill even one boss, and only 23 that killed Kel'Thuzad. We were able to take down Instructor Razuvious, but that was literally it.
