It seems that even with Beal injured as long as their two main stars are relatively healthy(although KD did miss today's game) they're still easily one of the top teams in the West(after all Booker + KD + randoms did take 2 games off Denver last season)

Both Booker and KD have been playing at MVP level recently even if having 2 MVP caliber players makes it hard for either to win the award

What will be the excuse for this game? Let’s hear it redditors lol No Durant, Allen, or Beal. Still win on the road, 7 in a row. What did I say about Point Book? 🔥

Suns are 8-1 with Booker. MVP

Look at who you played though. Jazz twice, Grizz and Portland in there. You did beat Minnie before that, which is a real good result imo.

Suns are a good team, but that record is fool's gold.

We also beat the Warriors (x2), Timberwolves and now Knicks. Also 4 of our 6 losses we led in the 4th quarter (double digit lead in 3 of them) but just lacked offensive power due to not having Booker.

Warriors without Green, but that was without Book I thought.

They have zero excuse not to make the NBA Finals at the very least

Have you seen a fully healthy Nuggets team play this season?

It takes an incredible amount of luck to get pass second round. Let alone WCF and Finals.

Give Vogel his flowers he has turned the m around defensively.

Suns ain’t tricking me again lol

Small sample size

[–] AlaskaFishGuy@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Eh only 2 out of the 7 teams have winning records, and barely at that

[–] b1indsamurai@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Vogel is so underrated

I mean…duh? Nobody reasonable said they weren’t gonna do good in the regular season, the issue has ALWAYS been playoffs….

Got to start respecting “randoms” each brings something to the team

My BF and I got together pretty recently, it's been only 15 days after knowing each other for 2 months and a half. When we first started talking all he did was talk about Devin Booker who is a player for the Sun's basketball team and also about Drake. We would listen to Drake's songs for three hours straight. I thought I could be okay with his interest in both of them. Since everyone has their own interest in things. But recently I've noticed that he can't go five minutes without mentioning Devin Booker. For example, we're eating ice cream and out of nowhere he asks me "do you think Devin Booker likes chocolate ice cream." Or we're on the phone and we've gotten quiet for a bit then he hits me with "Do you think Devin Booker is asleep right now?" I just laugh it off and say I have no idea. But all I'm thinking about inside is how can you switch that interest you have in them to me or at least talk more about yourself. I'm stump on how to even bring it up to him. I'm able to play a bit more of my songs in the car when we go out without him commenting on them on complaining that he needs more Drake in the car. The thing is I have fun and enjoy our time together when he isn't talking about them. He's a really sweet guy and I just want to ask him if he can tone it down a bit without sounding rude.

Most casual Devon Booker fan

[–] JohnnySalmonz@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Their schedule looks pretty easy so far.

[–] EuphoricWizard@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Just need to dump Beal for some more depth and they’re good

[–] shazam482@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

This needs context. How many of those teams were above .500?

I have been a s Suns fan for over 30 years, and this off-season I put money on them for the first time to win the whole thing. Booker has improved yet again and our front office have never made so many great signings and trades. I haven't enjoyed watching them play so much since the Nash - Marion - Stoudemire days.

Booker is a beast. Really hope they and clippers can stay healthy all year

[–] ThatHotAsian@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Absolutely insane how the Lakers scapegoated this man. Now they're stuck with Ham.

[–] wizsoxx@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

The spurs have beat more winning teams than the cowboys

[–] ekb2023@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Everyone had Wolves, OKC and Suns in their top 3 in the west predictions, right?

[–] TriCourseMeal@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

The only good win they’ve had in that span is against the Timberwolves. Everything else is 2 jazz games (one which went to double ot), Portland, and grizzlies. Then Knicks and warriors which could be respectable. But let’s pump the brakes lmao

[–] Responsible_Focus424@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Counterargument. They’ve lost to every quality playoff team they’ve played except for the timberwolves. Their schedule has been easy so far.

[–] Qlix0504@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

2 of their losses are to a full strength Lakers team - 1 game without Beal and 1 game without Book - by a combined total of 8. Theyve held double digit leads in every game theyve played. All of their losses have been 4th quarter collapses. Considering the entire team is new, that is going to happen.

Lakers have not been full strength at all this season. Vando has been out all year and he would be guarding KD and Book on switches.

[–] 4thIdealWalker@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

The KD curse. Can't wait to see this team collapse

[–] DragonsGetHigh@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I mean the difference between the 3rd seed and 7th seed in the west is 1 win/loss. Let’s see where they end up by ASB

Frank Vogel
