It's funny because even though the panthers got fleeced, the Bears would be 5-6 now with Bryce Young instead of Justin Fields. It's a lose lose trade.

There's no better way to evaluate your young QB in an otherwise lost season, where you probably will have the 1OA pick for another QB if Fields isn't the guy, then to absolutely neuter him and throw bubble screens. I have never seen so many screens in my life! Don't you want him to push the ball downfield and see how he reads progressions, pocket presence under pressure, etc?
imagine going for it on 4th & 7 in your own end in a tie game in the 3rd qtr when you have a QB who can't read a defense, can't feel a pass rush, or complete a forward pass

I’m so sick of Bears fans acting like this is a good night from Fields. Defense got 2 turnovers, one TOD, and we have 0 TDs to show for it. And don’t blame Getsy. Every play call that isn’t a screen, Fields either (1) holds the ball for 4 seconds in the pocket before scrambling or (2) misses a wide open receiver.
