It's your choice to permanently damage your hearing I'm not going to comment on that. I'm no expert on this stuff, but your MDR-XB950BT now have a sensitivity of 102db/mW, the WH-1000XM4 you tried 105db/mW, and the WH-XB910N you're looking at 96db/mW, they all have the same size drivers and impedance. Meaning theoretically the ones you returned for not being loud enough should have been the loudest of them all.

If OP is using the headphones wirelessly, the exact SPL is going to depend on the voltage/power of the built-in amplifier in each headphone, which I can't find listed in any specifications so the sensitivity and impedance values don't mean much.
That said, I do think OP is listening too loud because I've never had the need for more volume in any consumer wireless headphones I've tried (sound quality is another matter).
Yeah, I've been researching a lot about impedance, sensitivity, etc. What I noticed is that MDR had more impedance 24ohms, so I thought the more the highest volume, but no... Lol. So, any recommendations?
I have no problem with my hearing, just need to max out the volume and not having to download any amplifiers because it sounds like it is still on mid volume.
