There’s precedent with the Clippers and Sterling that owners are responsible for how they represent the NBA. Miriam Adelson is at the least bad PR. The owners have to vote in order to force a sale. Would the NBA choose to block it? Does Silver step in and ban her for life before she ever steps foot in American Airlines Center?

You guys might be shocked to learn this but there are far more jewish nba owners than Palestinian nba owners. Not that every Jewish person agrees with Israel but still

Has this woman ever said something on recording like

"It bothers me a lot that you want to broadcast that you're associating with black people,"

"You can sleep with [black people]. You can bring them in, you can do whatever you want," but "the little I ask you is ... not to bring them to my games

Sounds like it's already approved isn't it? Like, it'd never even get to the point where the sale is being announced without a lot of background stuff having already been done including I imagine some sort of investigation into new owner's finances, background, interviews, etc.

The board of governors and Silver are most likely already fine with it. I'd be very surprised if they've gone public with this w/o this being 99.9% done already.
