It's always good to mention "famously good" games. I played dark souls a year ago for the first time because of a post like this I saw.
To people who haven't played Undertale; you'll probably like it, it's very good.
From video gaming to card games and stuff in between, if it's gaming you can probably discuss it here!

I have tried to get into this game multiple times throughout the years and I can never get over the slow walking and annoying bullet hell combat
It's a game that kinda sprung up out of nowhere and exploded in popularity, but the popularity was well deserved it is a pretty good game. The younger fanbase being a bunch of over excited and obsessed turned off a lot of people, but I feel like it's a little silly to hate something because kids were acting like children.
You can't actually get the true ending on your first playthrough. You have to do the neutral ending first.
It is a wonderful little game!
Definitely play Deltarune. I like Undertale but Deltarune, especially chapter 2, was insanely good for being free.
Can you play the first two chapters without ending at a cliffhanger? Have been thinking if I should wait for all of it to release or play the free chapters now.
Up to you, though from the last info we got it seems like things are moving along nicely development wise. The full game should be done by later next year I feel.
Great game, sadly I never played it because I watched it through Jacksepticeye and by the time I decided to play, I've already finish watching his series. Can't really enjoy a story driven game when you've already watched it.
Edit: If you already finished, I really recommend watching Jacksepticeye's playthrough if you are into watching gameplays.
I was in the same situation but with Ross and Barry playing through it on Game Grumps. Even without playing it myself though, the game is truly something special.
Did they play through genocide? If not, then you can play it yourself for an extra bit of content and the banger music it provides.
Yes, Jacksepticeye did play the Genocide. Honestly, his reaction is quite funny to watch. I highly recommend his channel. (Not sponsored, just a very devoted fan 😅) Very wholesome Irish lad btw, so far I've not seen even one controversy. He've also showed support of LGBT+ community so I feel very good watching his channel.
I'm glad you finally got a chance to play it. I played it back in 2020, and it was the kind of game I needed to get me through those times.
I've been enjoying Deltarune too. I can't wait for the game to be finished.
I loved every second of playing Undertale. I got genuinely happy for the characters and I even cried a little. Definitely a masterpiece!
Who was your favorite character of the bunch? I always like to see who people gravitate towards
Toriel and Papyrus :).
And the running child monster
Time for a Genocide run so you can casually murder all of the characters that you’ve become attached to!
