Upper row are mine, lower row my wives.

After my last acquisition (the SBGN027) I felt that I finally owned to many black-dial watches. Especially the SBGN and the Sinn ferl a bit redundant. That's why I'm trying to figure out where to go from here and if/how to best reorganize the collection.

Thinking for example of switching out the 556i for the blue dial version or a green/white 104 (as I still would like to have a Sinn in the collection but not sure I'm completely sold on the blue 556i). Maybe even a UX as I personally like HAQ quite a lot. Also as a long term goal I would love to add a blue Tudor BB58 (or even better a 41 if they add an equivalent colour version in the future). Also pretty fond of the Christopher Ward Twelve in light or dark blue or a Nomos Tangente or Longines 190th Anniversary to add a true dress watch.

Maybe you have some input here.

From left to right:

Bulova Lunar Pilot (96B258) on which I had the bracelet bead blasted to get a more cohesive look. Probably one of the lesser worn ones, mostly on the weekends. But I still love the aesthetic and can also pull it off OK.

Casio G-Shock (GA B2100) is the watch I take camping, doing manual labor or to the playground with the kids. Definitely cool and robust watch.

Seiko SKX007 with modded bezel. Still have the original bezel and sometimes switch between them depending on the mood. At the moment I wanted a bit more colour in the box. That's the most worn one and beat up in the collection. Had it the longest and have the most memories with it.

Grand Seiko SBGN027 is my newest one and pictures simply can't do it justice. It's a great mixture of simplicity and beautiful finish. Overall just extremely cool. Personally the GS bracelets also wear good for me, even thought they have no quick adjustment.

Sinn 556i bought it to commemorate starting working in Frankfurt. I love it for the understated, toolish look and versatility. Probably the one I wear mostly for work.

Grand Seiko SBGX063 is probably the closest to a dress watch in the collection and the smallest watch I can still pull off (but only on the bracelet, leather makes it seem way too small).

There's nothing wrong with prefering black and white. I'm the same as you.

Only color I have is a BB58 in blue.

I'm tempted to get something in green, like the Nomos Club sport in petrol or maybe an Omega AT in green.
