They had a fairly large ‘archaeology’ exhibit at the museum, but I’m not sure if anyone ever went over it with an actual metal detector. Kind of related, they said the main medical issue at the fest was cut feet from all the old rip tab beer cans.
Being there would have been hella claustrophobic and no way they had a big enough sound system to reach that hoard of people.
Haha, yeah it was apparently ~450k people at the fest. I went to the second Bonnaroo back in the day, which I believe hit a million at the fest, but was like 10x the area for everyone and was still unbelievably packed. I’d imagine for a lot of the crowd it was far more the experience than actually hearing the music well.
