okay, hear me out... Mikrotik CRS310-8G+2S+ IN and a CRS305-1G-4S+IN or another 10gb switch for cheap... about 300-400eur, 8x2.5g, 4x SFP+, and 1Gb RJ45. should be around ~30w as long as you don't use 10Gbase-T transceivers/L3 routing/etc
I’d do the UBIQUITI Aggregation switch. 8 10 gig sfp+ ports. You do need to go fiber though as you can only use 4 ports if you use copper due to heat. Forget 2.5, it’s a weird speed. Just do 10
Keep in mind, that I won't only do my nas and maybe PC like that. Other PCs in the house should be added as well. CU cabling is easier to get through the house rather than fiber. Also I can't shut the door anymore. With flat cables I still can do so. As mentioned on another comment: Drilling holes isn't an option unfortunately :/
Fiber is super easy too. Fiber patch cables are extremely durable and don’t have glass in them. Very durable.
