So? I also want to retire.
We saw this guy like 3 times, and the last time I remember seeing him was when he basically said "If you're too poor to buy Switch2, just buy Switch 1" right before Nintendo increased the price of Switch 1.
I don't really blame him for how Nintendo has been acting lately, as its mainly the Japanese entity causing all the problems, but the former EA VP of Marketing wasn't exactly doing them any favors either.
I think the recent moving of US support staff to South America probably comes under him.
But other than that, yeah, don't think he had any significant (or at least visible) impact on anything.
Tom Nook for president
In other company shakeups, Satoru Shibata will assume the role of chief executive officer while continuing as managing executive officer and corporate director at Nintendo Co., Ltd. Pritchard will also join the Nintendo of America Board of Directors and serve as an executive officer at the parent company.
Looking forward to the new leadership under Lars Wiggler

Now they have to find a dude named Mario to take his place.
Nintendo's next President.
I misread the title as, "Nintendo of America President Doug Bowser to Retire at End of War" and didn't even question it until I clicked on the article.
