Do headphones have a tendency to break on the left side more or am i crazy? (alien.top)

Ive had multiple iem's that all have gotten more quiet on the left side after only a couple months of use and my sennheiser HD560s also suffer from this problem.

I had my ears examined and they are fine and yes i flipped the headphones around aswell and its 100% the left side thats more quiet.
