I'm supposed to be getting my AMD board for my Framework tomorrow. I'm currently running a 12th gen board, with the 80db speaker kit and whichever Intel wifi card came with the laptop. I've heard that the original speaker kit (I still have it) actually is better with the AMD board, and that the AMD mediatek wifi card is not as good as the intel card. Is it worth swapping the old speakers back in and keeping the Intel wifi card? Thanks for any advice!

As far as I'm aware mediatek cards are always trash and you should keep the intel one.

For the speakers, you should use the stock ones as they get a lot louder and sound better when paired with the AMD board. As for the wifi card, either will work. Personally, I decided to use the Mediatek one as per Support's recommendation and I've found that the range and speeds are a lot better than the AX210. But you'll find people who say different things about both.
