Feels a lot like a live action Foster's.
Might be ok, but it's not for me.
I think it was the second instance of Steve carell overdoing a voice in the trailer.
I understand that's his character, just made me kind of annoyed for some reason. Maybe I'm just annoyed this morning and has nothing to do with this movie
You’re getting old. It happened to me with Will Ferrell a few years back.
Of course!
Well, I subscribe to the fact that I'm no longer young.
I'm 30, btw.
Give it a few years and you'll be forty.
Lol
Hopefully will have my own place by then.
Maybe even a couple of munchkins running around, who knows?
I think his voice is just way too recognizable, so it seems really out of place. If he had done "a voice" it would feel better.
I doubt the target audience will care though.
That's another great point, I just really recognize his voice and it seems very off.
But like you said, the target audience may not care. I hope they enjoy the movie.
I think an prime example of a celebrity doing voice work might be Rocket Raccoon. That character sounds absolutely nothing like Bradley Cooper.
I'll even say Chris Pratt did a voice as Mario.
Makes me wonder what the ratio of comedians vs actors is for doing different voices for va work.
I always was very surprised about how good Bradley Cooper was doing it the voice for Rocket.
Looks like fun
