Lobby against them, keyscrape, put anti- tinydickcar posters up, etc.

you can make sure that you treat the owners like the selfish assholes they are, though

might influence some of them, at the least it's definitely better than nothing

He has another video about stupid American trucks, but it's about how stupid they are in America, not that politicians are trying to get them into Europe.

Once they run over a few toddlers and cause severe injury in collisions, the insurance premiums will go sky high. And maybe governments will impose greater safety requirements.
