Just a wild guess, but maybe the grid issues is exactly what makes EVs interesting? Many newer models offer vehicle2load, vehicle2home or vehicle2grid. So in case of an outage, you have a huge powerbank with wheels.
Very concerning. Hopefully they stop relying on the technology made by their enemies.
