I Recently deleted my Gmail account without first deleting all of my other accounts associated with that Gmail account.

I have tried logging into my Instagram account and it tells me that I can't access it without first accessing my Gmail account. I have tried recovering my Gmail account and I can't recover that either.

I can just search up my Instagram account using any search engine and find my identity and photos associated with me publicly available.

I have looked at Instagram's requirements for deleting an Instagram account, and they say that I have to log in for security reasons.

Is there anything I can do about this?

Seems plausible this is something to pester instagram support about?

Recovery will likely be invasive, if they provide it at all. But this shouldn't be an unheard of situation.

Though you might could ask a lawyer to send a threatening letter, since all you want is information deleted.

There’s an option (I’m paraphrasing from memory) to regain access with “no access to email/forgot email address” or something similar.

The process includes you uploading a live moving selfie. I hope you’ve been honest with your profile pics. Haha.

Well another problem is its photos of me as a kid. Nothing bad, but still I'd prefer it not on there. I'll try out that recovery I guess if it's an option.

report the profile for impersonation :D

which, as just trying account recovery, will probably require you showing some official document to prove your identity

Bit of a catch 22. Unless you have another MFA setup I can't see you getting into Instagram. I can see it from metas point of view as you are just some guy now asking to delete a 3rd party profile. Imagine if anyone could call in and request deletion or request control of someone else's account. You could try setting up your Gmail address again if they allow users to adopt it. Perhaps it's better to abandon it and let it wither.

Is it possible to recreate the Google account? If it is possible then this is troublesome since anyone could do it and get control of your other accounts.
