Denmark, like much of Europe, helped further US interests and imperialism, also in Iraq.
Imperialism doesn't require annexation.

I read recently they lost more soliders per capita than the USA did. It's really incredible how the Americans are simply threatening one of their allies. But yeah I guess this goes with the imperialism ends up coming home. In the same vein of seeing the police become more like the military, as if they were on enemy land.
