If you’re interested in setting up another program, you can use Overseerr to feed requests to Sonarr. Other people who have access your plex library can also use it to request stuff from you, but even if you’re a solo user, it’s a nice interface to search and add content with.

Can also be done via trakt or imdb lists, if you're paying more attention to what you're doing than OP.
FYI, you can use IMDB lists in Sonarr. First go to Settings -> Import Lists and click the add button. IMDB lists should be under “Other List” section.
Ugh, well I'll do it that way then. I'm like the Mr Smee of pirates.
Saying that, it looks like I'm on version 3.0.10.1567 fresh off GitHub. I think v4 has the iMDB lists. Dunno how people are on it.
Was gonna say, I only use IMDB lists and I've got like 12 of them monitored. You can definitely use them in sonarr and radarr.
You can add your Plex watchlist as a list in both sonarr and radar.
I did that too, sort of- I added recommended and popular lists to add the pilot episode of shows... and now my disks are constantly at 99.9% full. I delete things I'm never going to watch and it clears space to get more. Some of the content is pretty good and I update the "monitor" settings to get the rest of the show.
Anything I know I want to watch, I set to higher priority.
I'm gonna set up overseerr at some point to help "cycle out" content
