Forgot to link the trailer on Nebula in the body. 😅 Thanks for the reminder. Right now, Nebula lists 10 episodes out to May 25, followed by a "Part 2" coming June 1.

fyi you can embed images directly by adding a ! in front of the alt-text/link-text

[–] TehBamski@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Thanks for the tip. For some reason, I just didn't do that this time. Sleep deprived brains are weird ha.

Oh trust me. I wish I could easily do so.

Tell that to my continuous thoughts and feeling, brain.

Hbomber too!

Nah jk can't have too much good stuff.

[–] qarbone@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago

Don't you do that

[–] TheTechnician27@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

No, wait, he really is. The first 80 minutes of his next video, about Adobe, has been available on his Patreon since November 13, 2025.

[–] psx_crab@lemmy.zip 2 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Waw, this is gonna be a long one

[–] TheTechnician27@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

You got lucky. An Hbomb false alarm is a war crime in 143 countries.

[–] Zoomboingding@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

He did do an interview recently

[–] Skankboot@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 month ago

You bastard.

"Tom Scott: Our Man in England"

Really excited about this. Would not mind him doing that in other countries as well afterwards.

"I am here in Kabul."

Jokes aside, I would love to see him doing a country like New Zealand/Aotearoa.

[–] zedgeist@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

Tommy does New Zealand 😏

[–] J92@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

The best guess would be Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland next.
Or at least I would hope.

The title is confusing: this guy left you tube, but is coming back... To nebula?

I dobt know who he is, but I watched an episode on nebula today and thought it was good.

So used to be on YouTube, now on nebula? Is that it?

[–] SirHery@lemmy.world 17 points 1 month ago

The episodes will come out on YouTube.

[–] WolfLink@sh.itjust.works 8 points 1 month ago (2 children)

If you haven’t heard of this guy before look up his old stuff on YouTube.

[–] hawgietonight@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago

Most are pretty good but two of them (for me) stand out as "must watch," the chaos of programming dates and timezones, and the one about VPNs.

[–] NewNewAugustEast@lemmy.zip 0 points 1 month ago

I quit watching youtube

[–] scarabic@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago

He left video making for a while and is coming back. Which services he posts on is a secondary matter if that.

[–] k0e3@lemmy.ca 7 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I had no idea he left. Did he mention why he left?

[–] PlzGivHugs@sh.itjust.works 26 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (1 children)

He was running out of ideas, and just needed a break after doing a decade of weekly, main-channel videos. His goodbye video is here.

[–] k0e3@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 month ago

Thank you. I thought maybe he had to stop due to a mental or health issue. I'm glad he's fine and back.

[–] lambdabeta@lemmy.ca 7 points 1 month ago

I've already watched the first episode. It was good. Classic Tom Scott style. I am happy.

[–] daychilde@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago

Delightful news! I'm glad he was able to get in a good break, and I'm glad he's back - at least for now :)

[–] J92@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

I'm excited to see what he found to do in the three major counties of my life.

[–] lazycouchpotato@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

Omg I somehow missed this announcement.

Yaaaay! Glad to see him back.
