Enjoy it while you can. The age of enshittification will be upon us. With fully locked bootloaders and the only way to install true FOSS mobile OS is to pay 3x the price for half the capabilities of a normal Android phone.

That may be true. But I'm still optimistic about the Motorola partnership. Hopefully it'll fill a gap in the market to provide a prebuilt phone with less spyware. Maybe it'll even start a trend with other manufacturers. https://motorolanews.com/motorola-three-new-b2b-solutions-at-mwc-2026/

The hardware is often mid so I've gotten away from Motorola, but I've never enjoyed any phone as much as I did my Motorolas. If I can have Graphene OS and Moto actions... I would be so fucking happy

I'm keeping hold of my pixel with GrapheneOS while also keeping an eye on the new Jolla Linux phone. If that achieves even a half way decent experience, that'll be my next phone. Android is too much work to keep control of your own data.
