Pretty well, just trying out things as I go along really. Basil, spring onions and mint is thriving. Oregano looks good but doesn't seem to grow much, same thing with sage. I got one Coriander that survived but it is growing painfully slow. Thyme has not worked yet. Rosemary has not worked so far, but I am hopeful with one that I just planted from cut-off that I kept in a glass of water until it sprouted roots. I actually didn't know I could do that with Rosemary but I tried it and it worked.
Sweet! That is cool about the rosemary cutting. Here is a cool fact: Did you know that you can use willow stems as a natural rooting compound? Willow contains indole-3-butyric acid and salicylic acid, which help rooting. You essentially brew several 2-3 inch pieces of willow stems into a strong tea (simmered for an hour) and let cool. Then you take the plant cutting and let it sit in this willow brew for about 24 hours before planting it.
I did not know that. Thanks for the tip!
You could turn those plastic crates into vege patches too.
I’m looking for those. Half your luck. Here are my lettuces
