I am really impressed with Artix! everything runs just like how it would on arch. I am on OpenRC

I'm going to try to config/rice sway later in the week.

I'm running the same setup. I migrated from Mint. I had just a few headaches, mostly due to some multi-boot configuration confusion. I learned a lot by fixing those and now it's a solid setup.

I'm loving having a much lighter weight PID1!

Please do post back with how Sway turned out.

First I’ve heard of Artix, thanks for giving me something new to learn about.

I've been seeing a lot of artix lately on here. Is there maybe some noticable migration going on since the whole systemd age verification thing? I've never daily driven artix, but played around with it in a vm a few years ago. It did seem like a solid distro to me.

Any pros or cons to having the task menu bar at the top vs at the bottom like windows?

I just like the look of it more.

Even when using Windows, which I have not used in multiple years, I've always had the task part and top.

Did you install Plasma manually or use the community build?

I got the community bulid on the website
