NFL: People are complaining the first round takes too long and we start it late in the day. So we're going to reduce the time between picks to 8 minutes. That will speed things up and get Goodell his nap.

Not sure why people are still watching the draft on network television. At the very least you can watch McAfee's show without commercials on youtube and it was live live.

I'd argue it wasn't any different than last year (10min) because the broadcasts held everything up with every pick. Still way better than the 15 min per pick.
