So I watched the clip linked in the news article, and... uh... OK, the actress is Asian. So, the blatant asian stereotype is that they have asian-looking features, I guess?

From what I can see, the character could've been played by an actress of any other complexion, leaving the dialogue and demeanor intact, and nothing would change.

I saw the movie. The character is an insecure nerd meant to mirror Andy from the first one. There is also Lucy Liu playing a billionaire do it's not like there is only one Chinese character.
