It's -12°F here. Every time it gets this cold a few bald eagles come down from the mountains and perch on the electric poles on my back yard. Today it is only one but we've had up to three at a time.

Where I live there are quite a few bald eagles and red eagles. It's lovely to go to the river a few blocks from my house and watch them hunt fish.

Speaking of fish. I went kayaking during the covid lockdown. At the banks of the lake there was a young bald eagle eating a fish. I guess my staring annoyed it because it took off and bomb dropped the fish on me. Bullseye. Fucker.
