It isn’t a very great movie, in my opinion. Much like Salo, what may have been a good plot just sort of devolves into torture porn at the end. I’m not necessarily squeamish about violence in film, but when it starts to feel like a shock montage, it kind of loses any ability to serve a narrative purpose.
