I'm sorry, folks, but this is part and parcel of this venture capitalist world. Mergers, acquisitions, you can't really rely on these kinds of businesses. When they change hands, they will ultimately try to change the deal and also infrastructure, which means you are strung along for the journey.

This is why libre open source is important. Relying on these companies to set up infrastructure is borderline gambling. Either build your own, or rely on open source. Middlemen and SaaS is a load of shite.
