...he suggested without evidence that Raman rounded up a cohort of unhoused people to vote for her.
Does he know that homeless people are allowed to vote?

I think the article is underselling the ridiculousness of the suggestion. He suggested that she rounded up 43k homeless people, which is an insane number of people, and an enormous operation that no one could miss, as it would be wildly disruptive, but it's also virtually every homeless person in Hollywood, all in 1 week, and no one else voted, all week, based on nothing but a number he found somewhere showing that that's the number of homeless people in the city.
Not really the though process of a rational person.
No, but he also doesn't care because the intent is to froth up racists who hear "homeless" and picture dirty, smelly, brown people who earned their homelessness because it's laziness, poor money management skills, and stupidity, all in a strictly eugenic sort of way. Their feelings don't care about facts.
The difference between a lie and bullshit is that a liar cares enough to know the truth and convey the opposite to achieve their goal; a bullshitter has absolute disdain for the topic they speak on and weave their own reality confidently because your belief in their assertion means more than reality. This fucker is bullshit wrapped in a bullshit tortilla, topped with bullshit sprinkles. His entire persona is bullshit. He's an ex "reality" tv "star" who failed to offload his bullshit medicinal crystals, grifted to get put up in a swanky hotel while pretending to live in a trailer, ran for mayor and pretended he could've done anything well in any capacity but really just wanted attention, and now I am cursed with knowing his name and face where I previously never did. Fuck this fucking loser. I hope the money runs out and he has to actually live in his trailer, and he is forced to keep his promise and move out of LA, and some other unexpected wildfire brought on by climate change caused by his dumbass politics spreads quickly in wherever he moves to and burns that home down too. I don't even live near LA, but fuck that loser. I hope he writes a shitty book after this that nobody buys, and Robert Evans reads it with a friend and tears it apart in a podcast. I hope this jackass spends his own money to produce a shitty Netflix show about his life and campaign and it gets a Maggie Mae Fish YouTube video essay like hers about Rob Schneider. I hope his hand becomes sentient, realizes what a douchebag he is, and punches his own face to a pulp, or at least that he claims that due to desperation for attention when everybody collectively stops giving a fuck about this bullshit dickweed.
Less interesting than how it fell flat is how it got propped up and who did the propping.
There were certain blatant lies that locals easily recognized and found to be offensive. It’s simple.
Man, the juiciness of the mayoral race almost makes up for how the governor's race was and went. Almost.
