Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. 3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

He's in touch with 1.5 million dollars worth of opinion. It's just not your opinion.

Find someone who looks at you like Hakeem looks at a war criminal.

Fuck that. Israel gets universal healthcare so I want it also!

And I help pay for theirs!

Notice me, daddy. Are you proud of me now?

It's like he's looking at boobs for the first time

[–] Snapz@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

But... But that man is a war criminal

He’s not out of touch. He’s in touch with his corporate donors in the health insurance industry. He just doesn’t give a fuck about his constituents.

It's worse, he knows all he's doing is depressing dem turnout.

He wants Republicans to win midterms so he can use that as justification to call for the DNC chair's resignation and try to replace with a neoliberal who will fix the presidential primary.

The neoliberala have always been willing to hand elections to Republicans to stop progress, and they're gonna keep trying it. They'll give this midterm away just to slightly increase the odds of taking the DNC back before 2028 primary

He's in touch with that AIPAC money...

He's in touch with the financiers of the Democrat party... who just happen to also finance the Republican party.

It's the circle of banks that definitely aren't a cabal that control The FED. (please feel free to look at who is "appointed" to the fed; they work at banks and financial institutions before and after their term but they are looking out for us don't worry they surely aren't using this power to rob Americans with inflation)

How about we just agree to add a provision that it won't apply to him. I'm okay letting him experience medical bankruptcy. He should move to Israel anyways so he can be with his sugar daddy

Per Open Secrets

  • 1.41 million from health industry
  • 1.47 million from lobbyists
  • 3 million from Finance/Insurance/Real Estate

And while the last two aren't directly tied to the healthcare's 1.41 million, you know there's plenty of overlap in there if you look.

He always has been. He votes yes on the GENIUS act. We have to stop voting for these phony assholes.

[–] pr06lefs@lemmy.ml 8 points 1 day ago

He's not paid to "pay attention to the overwhelming support of the Democratic Party base". He's paid to fuck over every US citizen for the benefit of the cattle chute we call the american medical system.

Liberal Democrats+ Republicans are two wings of the same ShitBird in the US. Both are pro corporation, pro Israel, and pro Epstein Class. That's why they fight Progressives while playing grab ass with Republicans. Just look into the Super Pacs and donors of the Liberal Democrats it's the same people and organizations as the Republican party.

Corrupt, bought and paid for, a traitor. All better descriptors than ‘out of touch’
