Just a demonstration of the power of consumers.

I strongly suggest folks write to the stores at which they shop asking for more Canadian or at least non American options. And where there isn't clear labelling, demand it.

Still don’t buy from them. If I can avoid it.

I'm fortunate that I have that option as well. I didn't generally shop at them before, so not a big hardship, but I would be very hesitant to go back now if I did. They've had over a year (how long has this been going one?) to figure this out, and decided instead to do this.

But if the article is correct, and they don't have to label, we need to change that. I'd rather a label that said "product of US, Mexico, Peru or some other five countries" if they really don't know.

It’s irresponsible to not let customers know regardless of our beef with the USA. It’s not safe potentially. Like lettuce. I wouldn’t buy US (possible diarrhea) lettuce even if the clown and his circus wouldn’t be an issue.

Yeah I just saw this on CBC and thought wow, they decided to do it now? It is not like I support Lablaws in any way but really, now they decide to do it. Canadians should be more mad and be shopping Canadian more once again but they decide now is a good time to say fuck it?

Boycott Lawblaws!

it's not the power of consumers. I guaran-damn-tee you if this this new tariff stuff didn't happen they would NOT have backtracked. they saw the writing on the wall and knew it wouldn't go well for them customer backlash be damned.

Also don't shop from them. And if you do shop from them and you see someone stealing from them, shoppers drug mart, whatever then no the fuck you didn't. heck just steal from them regardless they've already stolen from you countless of god damn times. fuck galen, fuck loblaws.

That's every store. And I don't care what they're stealing. Could be emptying out the cash register for all I care. I didn't see jack shit. Actually, on second thought, I saw the whole thing. It was clearly Elon Musk. I'd recognize him anywhere. He was the one emptying the cash register.
