Say what you will about copaganda shows. I think they’re great trashy entertainment if you just need something simple you can yell at. Losing Waterston is the end of a fucking era.

If you watched it in the original run and liked it, then yes. It's basically the same show. My wife and I are enjoying it, but we're suckers for cop procedurals.

I liked it back then. The season from the 90s were mostly way better though.
Guess I'll check some of it out then.

It was revived in early 2022. Season 23 is currently airing (3rd of the revival era).
