Once I stayed at an airbnb in Vienna. Across the Street was a small Hofer (Austria's Aldi). All innocent enough, until the first night. Apparently this street was the local hooker pickup so lots of sparsely dressed ladies appeared each evening and there was lots of come-and-go (haha) traffic. And every morning at 4am sharp a huge truck arrived to restock the Hofer. In the narrow street it had to do a 50 point turn, complete with loud reverse beeping.

I've seem worse. I've been to a hotel where corridors where shaped like lowercase m letter, with central leg being the entrance and side legs having rooms on both sides, so the windows of inner ones were facing each other through public lobby 🫣 Needless to say, none of the curtains were ever open, so they were effectively windowless

I think it's hilarious. I'd laugh if i got into this room without knowing about its "view" beforehand. Ventilation might be an issue though

Last hotel I stayed in there wasn't even a view. The window just looked onto another corridor, and had some paper over it.
