I remember this movie being very good. I hope it holds up, especially with my very reduced attention span
I just watched it again a few months ago. It's even better than I remembered.
It still holds up
I wish Nolan made another one like this, I liked his work better before the massive budgets.
We lost a lot with streaming, no more thrillers and dramas. Everything has to be bombastic. Look at Affleck and Damon, powerhouses reduced to Nike shite and SWAT team stories. Not that they are bad, they did well with them but we will never get a Good Will Hunting again at this rate.
Rewatching Star Wars and everything was so earnest in the OT, the only quips were actually character associated.
There are still a lot of thrillers and dramas being made, but their quality is generally not great
We gained a lot with streaming too. Plenty of good series. But back then and right now at least 90% is garbage, for some maybe even 99,99%. But I do think we still have some good products.
It was good for tv but everything got samey, cliff hanger nonsense and cancellations
