From the spanish wiki:

Keperí consists of a piece of beef (where it gets its name from) that is cooked in an oven or fried. 7] The meat is characterized by being very soft and is accompanied with rice with cheese, fried yucca and salad.

Fried yuca:

Because yuca is packed with natural starches, it develops a much thicker, glass-like outer crust when fried. It stays crispy far longer than a standard potato fry.

This is all new to me :) Looks like the sausage on the white stuff is fried yuca? Is the white stuff rice with cheese? what kind of cheese?

I think it's queso chaqueño which is often used in this dish. The yuca is in the back next to the meat. That's a plantain on top of the rice and cheese.

Oh man, my mom makes this, it's the best. It's so much more flavorful than the picture suggests, and cheesy rice is incredible
